LaplandVisit's home ground is Finnish Lapland, but the Arctic doesn't stop at the border. Swedish Lapland is Sweden's own destination region in the far north: iron-ore mountains, national parks the size of small countries, and a coastline that freezes solid enough to walk on.

This section is deliberately separate from our Finnish guides. It covers the Swedish side on its own terms, and it pairs naturally with a cross-border road trip: many travellers drive up the Swedish coast to Finnish Lapland, or detour from Finland to Kiruna and Abisko.
